Osteopaths are commonly know to treat back pain, but did you know they also treat a wide range of joints including hips, knees, shoulders.
One of the most common complaints which osteopathy has great success at treating is low back pain, disc injuries and sciatica. The gentle form of osteopathy that Felicity and Seema use is great at relieving symptoms without having to use force.
Joint pain can present as a complaint on its own, or as complex series of changes do to with posture or injury that leads to symptoms in one or more joints. Osteopathy looks at the whole body to work out why and how symptoms started and why the body has not been able to heal it itself.
The cause of pain may not necessarily be purely physical. Sometimes pain presents itself as a build up of stress leading to the body stopping you in your tracks. Pain can also refer to your organs and vice versa. Osteopathy can be use to treat all types of pain, and Felicity and Seema are both extremely experienced at understanding how to best treat each individual.
Partially dislocated collar bone- Ouch!
I’m pleasantly surprised that Seema could help as quickly. I managed to have an assessment within a week and with two sessions started to have a marked improvement. My GP said nothing could be done but Seema got me going again in 3 sessions with NO heavy handed manipulation just gentle work. No pain now at all. Definitely would recommend for any compliant.
